Xylographie multicolore double représentant 羅仁 (Luo Ren) contre 鐵類八寶 (Tie Lei Ba bao), au moment où il est venu sauver son frère Luo Tong (羅通) à Muyang 木陽城 (Muyang cheng). Scène tirée des récits de "Luo Tong balayant le Nord" (羅通掃北, Luo Tong sao bei) qui constitue la première partie de la suite au récit de la dynastie des Tang (《說唐後傳》, Shuo Tang hou zhuan), écrit sous les Qing (1644-1911). Les deux personnages sont habillés et figurés comme des personnages de théâtre.
L'ensemble est signé de l'atelier de Tian Cheng 天成 et frappé d'un sceau rouge en écriture sigillaire: 朱仙鎮木板年畫博物館 (Zhuxian zhen muban nianhua bowuguan) indiquant que l'œuvre appartenait vraisemblablement au Musée des estampes du Nouvel An de Zhuxian (Kaifeng, Henan).
La feuille comporte deux estampes du même modèle qui ont pour vocation d'être séparées pour être vendues individuellement.
